MOSES GAYNIER
"Moses Gaynier, who had lived in Monroe county for 85 years, died in Monroe Hospital at 1:30 this morning. Mr. Gaynier was born in LaSalle township, October 18, 1853. Mrs. Gaynier died five years ago and a son and daughter also had preceded him in death. The Gaynier farm home is on Albain road, Frenchtown. He is survived by five sons, Ezra Gaynier of Monroe, Leo Gaynier of Grosse Ile, Roy Gaynier of LaSalle and Doras Gaynier of Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. Agnes Larrow of Monroe, two sisters, Mrs. George Benor and Mrs. Samuel Cousino, both of Erie, 44 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. The body as been removed to the Weber funeral home, East Elm avenue, and from there will be taken to the home of son, Ezra, at 211 Godfroy avenue at five o'clock this afternoon. Services will be held in St. Mary's Catholic Church Thursday morning at 9 o'clock, with a solemn requiem high mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery."
